Launch of the new subscription «GTG x OSR»

Combining two operas at the Grand Théâtre and two concerts with the OSR at the Victoria Hall, the season ticket offers the best of both institutions with a programmes conducted by Jonathan Nott, Peter Eötvös and Bertrand de Billy.

After the critical acclaim for the production of Parsifal at the Grand Théâtre earlier this year, Jonathan Nott, musical and artistic director of the OSR, returns to the GTG for the first opera of the subscription, Elektra by Richard Strauss.

The OSR is then joined by conductor and composer Peter Eötvös for two swiss premières: his opera Sleepless and his orchestral work in memory of György Cziffra, Cziffra Psodia.

The final concert of the programme sees mezzo-soprano joined by an OSR conducted by Bertrand de Billy for a 100% French evening featuring the Poème de l'amour et de la mer by Ernest Chausson.

The subcription goes on sale from Monday 5th July 2021 and can be pre-ordered at the OSR by completing the contact form on the subscription page.
