Delve into the DNA of the OSR
Thanks to the contribution of its founder Ernest Ansermet and his friendship with Igor Stravinsky, the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande has been able to present works such as l'Oiseau de feu, written especially for Ansermet and the OSR by the great Russian composer. The interpretation of the Russian and French repertoire has thus built the reputation of the orchestra since 1918. Delve into the DNA of the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande through this selection of concerts.

Highlights with Jonathan Nott
The Orchestre de la Suisse Romande has made an active contribution to the history of music, regularly premiering works by contemporary composers since it's foundation. This remains one of the orchestras' key missions today: to support the creation of orchestral works, and notably Swiss artists.
Jonathan Nott continues in this tradition with his recent premières of works by living composers, and brings a rich experience of both the choral and German repertoires to further develop the orchestra. Especially renowned for his interpretations of Mahler, discover his unique recording of his 3rd symphony and much more!
