OSR Festival at Genève-Plage
15 & 18 August 2024
Singin' in the Rain — Summer Serenade — Sinatra
The Orchestre de la Suisse Romande was delighted to hear the news from the City of Geneva that the association Faites Genève would be organising a new festival Genève Genève, from 14 to 18 August. As part of the festivities, a major lake show will take place on 16 and 17 August in front of the Plage des Eaux-Vives.
To allow the public to take full advantage of this summer cultural offer, the OSR has decided to adapt the dates of its Festival Genève-Plage, originally scheduled from 15 to 17 August 2024.
For this 5th edition, a new format has been imagined.
The evening of Thursday 15 August will feature a film-concert with the musical Singin' in the Rain
and Sunday 18 August will feature two concerts:
Summer Serenade, a classical concert offered to the clients of Genève-Plage.
Sinatra under the stars, Matt Dusk sings Sinatra with the OSR Jazz Band.
