The music

WOLFTONES is a new series of musical performances and installations taking place at the Grand Théâtre de Genève as part of the 2025 Art Genève musical program. In the spirit of a traveling concert, the evening explores the so-called “wolf tone” phenomenon—a resonant acoustic interference commonly found in some string instruments. Throughout the event, the “wolf tone” will be examined both as a sonic phenomenon and metaphorically, questioning our relationship with norms and disruptions within a system.

Art Genève / Music is a unique Art Genève platform dedicated to audio, performative and pop-up artworks. Since 2012, over 40 new creations have seen the light of day as part of various projects developed in Geneva and around the world.

This initiative highlights the power of creative expression through sound and performance, helping to enrich the artistic, immersive Art Genève experience.
