Founded in 1935, the Vaud Association of Friends of the OSR (AVAOSR) aims to promote activities of the OSR in the Canton of Vaud and French-speaking Switzerland, and welcome the symphony orchestra in Lausanne.

Joining the Association vaudoise des Amis de l'OSR means being part of a community of music lovers who support the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande in its concert activities in Lausanne.

PRÉLUDE LECTURES: A SPECIAL EXPERIENCE BEFORE EACH CONCERT
Offered by the Vaud Association of Friends of the OSR, the Préludes welcome a speaker with a connection to the world of music – direct or distant – to introduce each concert. More simply, these events are an opportunity for music lovers to gather together and share experiences. The lectures give historical and musical insight into the works being performed.
The Préludes take place in the Théâtre de Beaulieu before the concert.
