DAS - Diploma of Advanced Studies in orchestral practice
In partnership with the Haute école de musique (HEM) de Genève, the OSR contributes to the development of young instrumentalists. The two institutions propose a joint training programme leading to a Diploma of Advanced Studies in orchestral practice (DAS), awarded by the Haute école spécialisée de Suisse Occidentale.
With the objective of deepening and broadening professional skills in the field of orchestral practice and maximizing the success of candidates applying for orchestral positions, this opportunity is offered to young instrumentalists under 29, of any nationality, who holds a MMus in Performance..
The OSR employs these young artists to take part during one year in the symphonic and operatic life of the orchestra.
